Steadfast Performance Lab is a cash-pay practice. We accept credit card, HSA, and FSA at time of service. We do provide itemized superbills for all PT services so you can self-submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Lab and testing services are not typically covered by insurance, but are eligible for HSA/FSA spend.
No referral is needed for lab testing or performance training services. California allows direct access to physical therapy for up to 12 visits or 45 days before requiring a physician sign-off. For most short-term PT needs, you can come straight in. Longer PT courses are easily managed through our physician referral network.
Wear your typical running shoes and training clothes. If you have orthotics or insoles you normally run in, bring those too.
All lab assessments include a written report delivered within 48 hours of your session. The report includes your objective data, identified findings, and a clear corrective program or plan of action. It's a document you can reference, share with your coach, and compare against future re-tests.
Absolutely. The lab serves competitive athletes and active adults alike. If you run, surf, play tennis, lift, or just want to move without pain, you're exactly who we're here for.
Most cash-pay PTs in the South Bay offer rehab without testing. Most performance gyms run training without clinical scope. Steadfast combines objective biomechanical measurement, performance training, and doctorate-level clinical care under one roof. You get data, a plan, and the clinical credentials to treat what the data reveals, all with the same clinician, every visit.
